The University Master's Degree in Software Architecture offers IT professionals the possiblity of acquiring the knowledge and experience that are necessary to give technically advanced solutions in technology-based projects.

The University Master's Degree in Software Architecture is an official Degree whose study plan is published in the BOE number 97 of 23rd April, 2013.

Aimed at

This Master's Degree is aimed exclusively at:

  • Graduates in the area of Computer Sciences.
  • Graduates of Information Technologies.
  • Engineers of Information Technologies.
  • Technical Engineers of Information Management Technologies.
  • Technical Engineers of Systems Information Technologies.
  • Graduates in the areas of Mathematics or Physics.

Nevertheless, those students who are not university graduates in the aforementioned areas, but who have practical and theoretical knowledge of Information Management Technologies, Systems Information Technologies and Software Engineering may also be eligible for this Master's Degree, with previous authorization from the Director of the Master.

  • Study Plan

    Main objective of the Master

    The main objective of the Master is the presentation and application of the main techniques and technologies within the reach of software architects which permit them to resolve the various architectural and design aspects of any software project. More specifically, focus will be placed on web technologies, service integration, patterns, frameworks and advanced distributed systems, among others. The software organization that permits factory work and the integration of business applications will also be studied.

    Teaching methodology

    The training model of the UDIMA is based in distance-learning, making intensive use of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in order to facilitate the educational process.

    The system of evaluation of the UDIMA takes into consideration the completion of different types of activities. The percentage weights established to evaluate the activities in each subject are described in detail in the corresponding document of each module or subject within the study plan, and are based on the maximums and minimums seen in the following table:

    Academic feedback is carried out in every subject for each student through the evaluation of didactic activities based on the characteristics of the European Higher Education Area.

    • Los Complementos Formativos. El precio por ECTS de estos complementos formativos, es el mismo que la tarifa general de ECTS para esta titulación.

    (**) Las matrículas que se formalicen a partir del 16 de septiembre/febrero, el pago fraccionado se abonará en 12 ó 5 plazos del importe proporcional dependiendo de la modalidad de fraccionamiento elegida.

    Datos de Inserción Laboral

    Bolsa de Trabajo y Emprendedores está llevando a cabo estudios de inserción laboral sobre sus egresados. Dichos estudios sirven para establecer indicadores de empleabilidad de las titulaciones e identificar aspectos de mejora. Los estudios de inserción laboral se irán haciendo públicos a medida que se vayan cerrando.

    Por otro lado, la UDIMA colabora así mismo con el Observatorio de Empleabilidad y Empleo Universitarios OEEU para la elaboración de informes de empleabilidad de las titulaciones del sistema universitario español.
