Brief description of the Group and Objectives:

The research group gathers an interdisciplinary team of UDIMA teachers and educational practitioners who are interested in the study of teacher training and all the elements taking part in teacher development, educational innovation and online teaching. The main goal of the group is, therefore, to conduct and disseminate scientific research in the fields of teacher training, educational innovation and online teaching. Consequently, both qualitative and quantitative research is expected in order to analyze and delve the aforementioned areas.

Lines of research:

  • Initial and continuous training of teachers (Attention to Diversity in teacher training, Professional development of teachers, Global trends and policies on teacher training).
  • Teaching innovation (PBL, Key competences, Didactics of Language and Literature / Mathematics / Social Sciences, Foreign Language // English, French, etc, bilingual programs ...).
  • Distance education: (Educational technologies for teacher training, distance education, social networks and teachers).
