International

The International Relations Office, aware of the importance of mobility in the academic sphere, provides international mobility for students, the administration and services staff (PAS) and the teaching and research staff (PDI). Given the uniqueness of UDIMA's teaching method which is carried out at a distance, special emphasis is put on taking these kinds of steps so that all possible recipients receive the same education.

In 2015 UDIMA was awarded with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education for the whole period of the Erasmus+ Programme (2014-2020).

In 2021, UDIMA has obtained the renewal of the Erasmus Charter for the period 2021-2027.

What is Erasmus+?

Erasmus+ is the EU programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport for 2014-2020, starting in January 2014.

Erasmus+ aims to modernise and improve higher education across Europe and the rest of the world.

It gives students and staff opportunities to develop their skills and boost their employment prospects. Good practices will be shared between universities and businesses in Knowledge Alliances.

The programme brings students the opportunity to study abroad, and a chance to experience life in other countries rich in different history and culture. Immersion experience in another culture strengthens understanding of the world and the appreciation of international contribution to knowledge. It offers an opportunity to learn how to cope with international environment, and communicate across barriers of customs, languages, geography and politics.

What does it involve?

    Opportunities for students to learn abroad, including:
  • Studies
  • Traineeships in businesses.
  • Opportunities for staff to undertake professional development activities, including:
  • Training or teaching;
  • Attending workshops delivered by businesses.
